changed. Move the cursor to the column Config and press [Enter]. The menu Com port
setup opens, where it is possible to configure the port that the switch is connected to.
It is possible to use the SX10nL together with splitting multiplexers. In the multiplexer set-
up menu this option can be set. The output port to actual path mapping is made in the
menu.
7.2.5 Function test of the switch
Set the DIP switch no. 8 in position ON to run a function test of the switch. In the test
mode, the output port cycles between all ports once per second.
From the Peripheral control menu, it is possible to test the function of the switch. Move
the cursor to the column Setup and press [Enter] to open the menu SX102-108 Test.
7.2.5.1 The function LED´s
The function LED´s also give information about the functioning of the switch.
1. The bottom green LED lights up when the unit is powered. The top green LED is
not connected.
2. The red function LED´s, 1 through 8, represent the 8 output ports. The selected port
stays solid red as long as the unit is powered. At startup, before a command is sent,
all LED´s are flickering.
3. The yellow LED´s RX (receive) and TX (transmit) lights up when the unit commu-
nicates with the analyser.
