CALIBRATION SOFTWARE INTERFACE DESCRIPTION
The Calibration Software User interface is divided in five frames:
1. Mode frame. Allows selection of
- Calibration mode
- Lookup table construction
The Calibration mode allows the various system calibrations described
below, The Lookup table construction mode enables the automatic
build up of a lookup table for the voltage vs. pressure values of the
proportional valve.
Touch the round dial to activate the desired mode.
2. Alarms frame. Reports the active alarms (if any). The meaning of the
abbreviations is:
DH Diathermy Halted (Err 05) AH Aspiration Halted (Err 04)
TF Collection Tank is Full (Err 03) LP Low input Pressure (Err 02)
The A0-7 check boxes report the status of the Alarms byte transmitted
from the Control board to the Graphic User Interface.
3. Air Preset frame. Allows to toggle activate/deactivate the air pump for
air tamponade at 10 or 80mmHg. Touch the appropriate check box or
dial mode selection. An indicator shows the actual pressure of air
injection, as read by the relevant pressure sensor.
4. Proportional Valve Settings frame. It allows direct setting of the on
time of the Pulse Width Modulation system controlling the proportional
valve. The Set button allows recording in the calibration memory of the
Control board the minimum PWM value at which air starts to be
delivered by the proportional valve.
5. Measurements frame. Continuously shows the actual value of the
pressure at the output of the proportional valve and Vacuum reading
by the Vacuum sensor.
Before starting the following calibrations, activate the System Calibration
Software in Calibration mode.
MAIN PRESSURE REGULATOR CALIBRATION
1. Connect a 10bar pressure gauge to the Main Pressure connector
(Fig.4, ref.7).
2. Rotate the knob of the Main Pressure Regulator (Fig.4a, ref.10) fully
counterclockwise.
3. Slowly rotate the knob of the Main Pressure regulator to read 5.2 (
±
±±
±
0.1) Bar.
