CAUTION: The pressure regulator has a noticeable hysteresis, after each
adjustment of the knob position, shortly depress the main paddle of the
footswitch beyond position #2 to activate air flow.
4. Remove the pressure gauge from the Main Pressure connector and
plug-in the plastic occluder.
SECONDARY PRESSURE REGULATOR CALIBRATION
The secondary pressure regulator (Fig.4, ref.6) adjusts the output pressure
for the pneumatic vitreous cutter and microscissors.
6. Connect a pressure gauge (at the least 5bar full scale) to the
microscissors output.
7. Slowly rotate the knob of the secondary pressure regulator to read 2.3
(
±
±±
±
0.1) Bar.
CAUTION: The pressure regulator has a noticeable hysteresis, after each
adjustment of the knob position, shortly depress the main paddle of the
footswitch beyond position #2 to activate air flow.
PROPORTIONAL VALVE CALIBRATION
1. In the “Proportional Valve Setting” window, select 1023 for DAC.
2. Connect the digital multimeter to J16 connector on 393200 board ,
between pins 1(GNDP) and 3.
3. Rotate trimmer R110 until the value is 10±0,05Volt
4. In the “Proportional Valve Setting” window, select 0 for DAC;
5. Rotate trimmer R122 until a small positive pressure is shown in the
“Internal” part of the “Pressure” window ; then slowly rotate in the
opposite direction until a value of 0mBar is reached.
6. Connect the digital pressure meter to the proportional valve exhaust;
in the “Proportional Valve Setting” window, adjust the value by the
Up/Down arrows until the meter shows a value of 5000mBar.
7. Rotate trimmer R117 until a value of 5000mBar is shown in the
“Internal” part of the “Pressure” window.
INPUT PRESSURE SENSOR CALIBRATION
This sensor monitors the compressed air pressure at the input of the
equipment.
