a) The handpiece and/or tip have not been properly cleaned before
sterilization.
b) The aspiration line is bent or occluded.
c) The tip used is a high-vacuum low-flow non OPTIKON tip.
d) The equipment is not connected to the electric pole in the cart and
the bottle is
too low.

Err 15: Minor leakage
Once the lines are completely filled with fluids, the ASSISTANT closes
the irrigation valve to built 300mmHg of vacuum. If this level cannot be
reached, there is a minor leakage in the I/A system:
a) I/A connectors are not fully engaged in the handpiece connectors.
b) The sleeve or the test chamber are not correctly assembled.
c) The cassette is defective.

Err 16: Weak handpiece
The U/S handpiece is tested at the end of the priming cycle. If it
cannot reach at the least 50
µ
m the Err 16 message is delivered.
a) The tip could be slightly loose.
b) The handpiece efficiency is decreased, handpiece should be
serviced.
OTHER ERRORS
If the equipment is not used for long time (more than 3 months), the RTC/CMOS battery
discharges partially and it may cause the equipment not to start normal operation at
power on (screen remains black).
When receiving the equipment, at installation or if the equipment is not used for long
time, plug it in the mains, switch on and keep it powered for, at the least, 12 hours to
allow full battery recharge.
If normal operation did not star properly at power on, switch off the equipment and then
on again after battery recharge and before use.
