SETUP AND INSTALLATION
E󰀨ective range
Infra-Red (IR) remote control sensor is located on top of the projector. Ensure to hold the remote control at an
angle within 30° perpendicular to the projector’s IR remote control sensors to function correctly. The distance
between the remote control and the sensor should not be longer than 4 meters (~13 feet).
Note: When pointing the remote control directly (0 degrees angle) on the IR sensor, the distance between the
remote control and the sensor should not be longer than 6 meters (~19 feet).
 Make sure that there are no obstacles between the remote control and the IR sensor on the projector
that might obstruct the infra-red beam.
 Please ensure that the IR transmitter of the remote control is not being shined on directly by sunlight
or uorescent lamps.
 Please keep the remote control more than 2 meters away from uorescent lamps in order to avoid
possible malfunction. If the remote is exposed to inverter-type uorescent lamps it may become
intermittently ine󰀨ective.
 Please be aware that if used within too close proximity of the projector, the remote control may
become ine󰀨ective.
