2. Place a towel or soft cloth over your work surface to protect the touchscreen, and
then place the workstation face-down on the surface.
3. Loosen the security screws using a hex key. You do not need to fully remove the
screws because they are captive.
4. Gently lift the rear cover to avoid damaging the audio cables. You can disconnect
the cables to detach the top cover.
5. Loosen the two captive screws from the magnetic stripe reader.
6. Gently lift the magnetic stripe reader to avoid damaging the 8-pin modular cable.
