Go to the Oracle e–delivery site:
http://edelivery.oracle.com/linux
Create an account (if you do not already have one).
You need an account to download the updated ISO images.
Find and download Oracle Enterprise Linux.
Proceed to

If necessary, congure your console display and erase your boot hard drive. See
“Preliminary Tasks Before Installing an OS” on page 13 for details.

While conguring an operating system for a networked server, it is necessary to provide the
logical names (assigned by the OS) and the physical name (MAC address) of each network
interface. See
