Ensure sufficient ventilation when charging the batteries in
closed rooms. Smoking and open flames are not permit-
ted. Sparks must be avoided.
The air vents in the trim must not be covered.
CAUTION

must always be removed for any maintenance work where
the battery cover is open.
NOTICE
Unauthorizedbatteryreplacement. The battery may only
be replaced by a specialist dealer. The characteristic
curve of the battery charger set at the factory corresponds
to the battery provided and must not be changed. Setting
the characteristic curve incorrectly can result in perma-
nent damage to the battery.
NOTICE
Damageofelectronicsasaresultofpenetratingwater.
Never use a water jet or high-pressure cleaning apparatus
for cleaning the power wheelchair. Avoid direct contact of
water with electronics, motors, and batteries under all cir-
cumstances.
INFORMATION
The power wheelchair must be inspected for functional
reliability and driving safety at least once a year by an au-
thorised specialist.

Defective batteries must be disposed of properly in ac-
cordance with country-specic regulations.
