Playing titles on the HDD

then press [OK].

1 USB HDD | When connecting
registered USB HDD, “USB HDD” tab
and registration number appears.
Select “USB HDD” tab.
e.g.,

3 Select the title, then press [OK].
Playback starts.
Resume play function
If the following screen appears, select the point to
start playback.

Title was not recorded due to recording
protection
Title cannot be played (When data is
damaged etc.)
Title is copy protected (One generation
copy is permitted)
Title requires a CAM with a playback
licence to play back.
• The number of times the title can
be played back may also be limited.
Title cannot be played back when a
certain time has elapsed after the
recording.
The icon turns grey after the playback
period has passed.
• Playback period limit can be
checked in the information of that title.

Title is copy restricted.
Title requires a CAM with a playback
licence to play back. If a certain time
has elapsed after the recording, the title
cannot be played back.
• The number of times the title can
be played back may also be limited.
Title has failed to be decrypted
• Press [STATUS ®] to show the
Title cannot be played back, edited
(except deleting) or copied. Delete the
