Panasonic FZ-M1 Series - Connecting and Disconnecting the Computer from Cradle

G. Battery charging slot <Only for FZ-VEBM12 series>
Insert the battery packs to charge.
Charging ispossible while the battery packs are attached to the computer.
If the battery charging slot gets dust, wipe the dented parts off with such asdry cloth.
H. Charging status indicator <Only for FZ-VEBM12 series>
I. Expansion Bus Connector
This connects to the expansion bus connector on the bottom of the computer.
J. Lever
Use thislever when disconnecting the cradle from the computer.
K. Security Slot (Side)
A Kensington cable can be connected.
If the cable for securityis connected to this securityslot after the computer is connected, the computer cannot be disconnected because the lever
is locked.

L. DC-IN Jack
Connecting/Disconnecting the Computer
CAUTION
n Make sure to turn the computer off for connection/disconnection.
n Do not connect or disconnect the Cradle while the computer is powered on or in the sleep or hibernation mode.
Connecting
1. Turn off the computer.
Disconnect all the devices and cables and close the terminalcover.
2. Connect the AC adaptor to DC-IN jack of the Cradle.
Connect the AC cord to the AC adaptor (included or optional), and connect to an AC outlet.
Refer to the “OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS” accompanying computer for information on proper handling of the AC adaptor and AC
cord.
