Quick Guide
Prepare the following items.
• Camera
•Battery
•Card
• AC adaptor
• AC cable
• Check that the power switch is set to [OFF]
and the lens is retracted.
• Close the flash. (P37)

1 Charge the battery. (1 # 2) (P11)
• Charging is finished in about
90 minutes.
2 Slide the lever in the direction of the
arrow to open the Memory Card/
battery door.
3 Insert the battery into the camera.

4 Insert the Card into the camera. (P15)
5 Close the Memory Card/battery door.

6 Remove the lens cap.
7 Set the power switch to [ON]. (P17)
8 Set date/time. (P28)
9 Set the mode dial to [P/A/S]. (P25)

the flash)
Press [ OPEN] button to open the
Flash. (P36)
11 Take a picture. (P24, P29)
[Playback]
12 Set the mode dial to playback [ ].
