Initializing the settings
This feature allows you to easily reset the
camera to the factory default settings.
[Preparation]
• Set the mode dial except for [ ]/[ ].

1 Press the [MENU] button.
2 Press 1 to open the setup menu.
3 Press 3/4 to select [RESET] and
then press 1.
4 When this message is displayed
“RESET REC. SETTINGS?”, press
2 to select [YES].
5 Press the 4/[REVIEW/SET] button.
• The message “REC. SETTINGS
RESET COMPLETED” is displayed for
about 2 seconds.
6 When this message is displayed
“RESET SETUP PARAMETERS?”,
press 2 to select [YES].
7 Press the 4/[REVIEW/SET] button.
• The clock setting is not reset.
8 Press the [MENU] button.
• The menu will disappear.
