Taking Pictures using Macro Mode
When you take pictures from a distance closer,
set the camera in macro mode

you to get closer to the subject up to 0.16 feet

1 Set the mode dial to Macro mode [ ].
2 Take a picture.
Select the flash setting depending on the situation. (P36)
The available flash range is about 0.98 feet (30 cm) 6.89 feet (2.1 m). (When
setting to ISO100)
When the jitter alert is displayed within the available flash range, we recommend
using the flash.
When the camera lens is at a distance over the available range from the subject,
focus may not be adjusted even if the focus indication appears.
