Message Mode
Leave audio/video messages for family or
friends.
Before you begin...
• Connect Camcorder to power source.
Use AC Adaptor 1or extended use.
• insert cassette with record tab (page 13).
• Set POWER to CAMERA.
Press MENU for MENU mode.

Press _ for Message Stand-by
Mode. (If cassette is not inserted,
"13%'1"will flash.) Flip LCD In
direction of lens.
Press _ to start
recording your message.
• Tally lamp flashes and a display
alerts recipient.
Press _ to end.
MESSAGE
• Camcorder auto-rewinds to the
message start, then goes into
Stand-by mode.

Note:
• One message limit.
• If tape is ejected or battery (if used) is
depleted while in Stand-by mode, the
message mode is canceled. To
playback message (tape is inserted
and/or new power source is attached),
set POWER to VCR and press PLAY.
• Title cannot be displayed in Message
mode.
• If Message mode is selected, the
following functions are not available:
Time Lapse, Security.

• To cancel feature, set POWER to
