(ifincluded)- New rechargeablebatteries in exchangefor defective rechargeable batteriesfor
ten (10) days. Non-rechargeablebatteries are not warranted.
"FaDe(if included) - New video cassette tape in exchange for a defectivevideo cassette tape for five (5)
days.
In-home, carry-inor mail-in service, as applicable, inthe USA can be obtained duringthe warranty
period by contactinga Panasonic Services Company (PASC) FactoryServicenterlistedin the Service
Director,].Or call toll free 1-800-211-PANA(7262), to locate an authorized PASC Servicenter.Carry-in

This warrantyis extended onlyto the originalpurchaser.A purchasereceiptor other proofof the date of
the originalpurchaseis requiredbefore warranty service is rendered.
This warrantyonly coversfailures due to defects in materials and workmanshipwhichoccur during
normaluse and does not cover normal maintenance, including,but not limited to, videoand audio head
cleaning.The warranty does not cover damage whichoccursm shipment, or failureswhich are caused
byproducts notsuppliedby the warrantor, orfailures which resultfrom accident,misuse, abuse,
neglect mishandling misapplication,alteration,modification faulty installation,set-upadjustments,
improperantenna inadequate signal pickup maladjustmentof consumercontrols,improperoperation,
power linesurge impropervoltage supply,lightning damage, commercialuse suchas hotel, office,
restaurant or other businessor rental use of the product or service by anyone other than a PASC
FactoryServicenter or a PASC authorzed Serv center, or damage that is attdbutabe to acts of God.
LIMITS AND EXCLUSIONS
There are no express warrantiesexcept as listed above. THE WARRANTOR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE
FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION,
DAMAGE TO TAPES) RESULTING FROM THE USE OF THIS PRODUCTS OR ARISING OUT OF
ANY BREACH OF THE WARRANTY. ALL EXPRESS AND IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUD NG THE
WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED
TO THE APPLICABLE WARRANTY PERIOD SET FORTH ABOVE. Some states do not allow the
exclusionor limitation of incidentalor consequentialdamages, or limitationson how longan implied
warrantylasts, so the above exclusionsor limitationsmay not apply toyou.
Thiswarranty givesyou specificlegal rightsand you may also have other rightswhichvary from state to
state.

or Servicenter.If the problem is not handledto your satisfaction,then write to the CustomerSatisfaction

SERVICE CALLS WHICH DO NOT INVOLVE DEFECTIVE MATERIALS OR WORKMANSHIP AS
DETERMINED BY THE WARRANTOR, IN ITS SOLE DISCRETION, ARE NOT COVERED. COSTS OF
SUCH SERVICE CALLS ARE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE PURCHASER.
