Adjusting the color matching
The projector is equipped with color matching adjustment functions to adjust colour balance when using several
units in combination.
Adjustment procedure
Press the MENU button. ... The MENU screen will be displayed.
Press the UP ( ) and DOWN ( ) arrow buttons to select PICTURE.
Press the ENTER button. ... The PICTURE screen will be displayed.
Press the UP ( ) and DOWN ( ) arrow buttons to select COLOR MATCHING.
Press the LEFT ( ) and RIGHT( ) arrow buttons to turn ON.
Press the ENTER button. ... The COLOR MATCHING screen will be displayed.
Press the UP ( ) and DOWN ( ) arrow buttons to select the colour to adjust.
Press the ENTER button.
Press the UP ( ) and DOWN ( ) arrow buttons to select compensating colour.
Adjust the value using the control level buttons ( + and − ) .

For adjusting
• Effects of altering the colour adjustment:
When altering the same colour correction as the colour adjustment: the luminance of the colour under adjustment changes.
When altering the RED colour correction: the RED component of the colour under adjustment increases or decreases.
When altering the GREEN colour correction: the GREEN component of the colour under adjustment increases or
decreases.
When altering the BLUE colour correction: the BLUE component of the colour under adjustment increases or decreases.
• Adjustment requires skill and should be done only by service personnel or persons with sufficient knowledge of
projectors.
• All adjustments can be reset to factory default settings using the STD (standard) button.
•
Adjustment is valid only during COLOR TEMP USER and DYNAMIC. It is invalid during LOW, MID and HIGH.
