approximately ten seconds longer before the projector starts projecting after the power is turned on, compared with when [NORMAL] is set.
f If the [PROJECTOR SETUP] menu → [ECO MANAGEMENT] → [STANDBY MODE] is set to [NORMAL], it may take approximately one
minute to enable the network function after connecting the power cord to the outlet.
When the initial setting screen is displayed
When the projector is switched on for the rst time after purchase or the [PROJECTOR SETUP] menu →
[INITIALIZE ALL] is executed, the [INITIAL SETTING] screen is displayed after the projection starts. Set them in
accordance with circumstances. In other occasions, you can change the settings by menu operations.
When the [INITIAL SETTING] screen is displayed, you can return to the previous screen by pressing the
<MENU> button.

f When the projector is used for the rst time, in order to clearly display the menu screen, it may be necessary to adjust the focus lever and the
zoom lever in the projection lens area of the projector (

page 20). For details, refer to “How to adjust the state of the image” (
Æ
page 42).
Initial setting (display language)
Select the language to show on the screen.
After the initial setting, you can change the display language from the [LANGUAGE] menu.
1) Press asqw to select the display language.
