Select the manufacturer of the camera.

■ Model/Compression
Select the model of the camera and the image com-
pression method.
Refer to the "readme.txt" on the provided CD-ROM
about the model of the camera.

When the image compression method is changed, the
live image transmission rate and the recording rate will
be changed automatically. Set the live image transmis-
sion rate and the recording rate again after changing
the image compression method. (Page 43)
 • Whenchangingtheimagecompressionmethod
from "MPEG-4" to "JPEG" or "M-JPEG", the live
image transmission rate and the recording rate will
be set to "1ips".
 • Whenchangingfrom"JPEG"or"M-JPEG"to
"MPEG-4", they will be set to "I-Frame".
 • Whenchangingtheimagecompressionmethodand
the other settings together, they will be set to "Off".
■ Address
Enter the address of the camera.
■ Port number
Set the HTTP port number to be used for the camera. A
number from 1 - 65535 is available.
Default: 80
■ Group
Select the group to which the camera is to be assigned
(G1 - G8).
Default: G1
■ Camera title
Set the camera title to be displayed in the [Cam. Select]
box, etc.
Enter up to 16 alphanumeric characters except the fol-
lowing:

■ User name
Set the user name for accessing the cameras and log-
ging in.
Enter up to 32 alphanumeric characters.
■ Password
Set the password to be used to access and log in to
the camera.
Enter up to 32 alphanumeric characters.
Setup items
To display the setting page of the camera whose
camera channel is not on the current page, click the
desired camera channel range displayed above the
[Set] button.
4 Check or change the settings of each setting
item.
Refer to "Setup items" mentioned below.
5 Click the [Set] button.
