Introduction

Patton’s SmartNode 200 ATAs and VoIP Gateways deliver the features you need for advanced voice applica-

tions. They combine high quality voice-over-IP with powerful quality of service, provisioning and monitoring

functions to build professional, secure and reliable VoIP network services. This chapter describes typical appli

cations for which this SmartNode is uniquely suited.

Applications

Whether used as an ATA, connecting legacy telephones to an IP PBX or as a VoIP Gateway integrating legacy

fax machines into a hosted UC environment, the SN200 adapts to every use-case.

Thanks to the Power over Ethernet option

, there is no need for a power plug at the remote location.

Operated, managed, and administrated through the Patton Cloud proactive notification in case of a customer

network problem, helps to reduce service downtimes and increase customer satisfaction.
