9.3 Connections and software
The wiring between the weather station and the PC is done by means of an included USB cable.
This software allows displaying all present weather data with graphic symbols.
It also allows the display, storage, and printing of history data sets the volume of which is not
limited to a maximum of 4080 data sets, as in the weather station itself, but is only limited by the
capacity of the PC’s main memory.
9.4 PC software installation
The installation of the software is described in further detail under 10.2.
If you run the program for the first time, the current weather data will be displayed and in the sub
line of the window, the program will show the status of data upload to the software. Please note,
however, when a large amount of data is being uploaded, it will take a few minutes before the
system can respond to your settings.
When the memory is full, it will take about two minutes to upload all history data to the PC and
another two minutes to process all history data for graphic display.
