Indication ILT
Message CURRENT LIMITING
Notes Microdrive has reduced the output frequency
to maintain the motor current at or below the
current limit setting.
Indication VLT
Message VOLTAGE LIMITING
Notes Microdrive is limiting the deceleration rate to
avoid excessive regeneration (Vdc > 750V).
Indication HST
Message HOST STOP (Serial Communications
Option)
Notes Microdrive has stopped under a command
from a host computer or keyboard.
Indication FLT
Message FAULT TRIP
Notes Microdrive has tripped on a fault (refer to
Screen 2 for detail).
Y - Overload Status Indicators:
The overload status is indicated by a flashing lower case
letter while the overload is present.
Indication i
Message Current exceeds Microdrive rating.
WARNING: The Microdrive will eventually shut down to
protect itself if this fault persists.
Indication m
Message Current exceeds motor capability.
WARNING: The thermal model of the motor indicates
the motor will become too hot if this
condition persists. The Microdrive will
eventually stop to protect the motor if this
condition persists.
Output Level Indicators:
Indication 0.0A
Message Output current.
Notes The output current level supplied to the load.
Indication +0.0Hz
Message Output frequency.
Notes The frequency of the output voltage. The
sign represents phase sequence; + is
forward (U, V, W) phase sequence.
According to IEC347, the motor rotates
clockwise when:
viewed from the drive end,
motor terminals U1, V1 and W1 (or U2, V2
and W2) are connected to Microdrive
phases U, V, and W respectively,
and the Microdrive is operating with +
forward direction.

The following section provides full descriptions of the
function and setting up of all Microdrive screen controls.
THE STATUS LINE
Screen STP 0.0A +0.0Hz
Description STATUS
Notes ALWAYS DISPLAYED
Function This is the top line of the display and is
permanently displayed. The status line
shows Microdrive status, motor current and
output frequency according to the following:
XXX - Status Messages:
Indication STP
Message STOPPED
Notes Microdrive stopped.
Indication SPG
Message STOPPING
Notes Microdrive is stopping.
Indication RDY
Message READY
Notes Microdrive is ready to run. A start command
has been received but the speed demand
does not exceed the minimum frequency.
Indication RUN
Message RUN
Notes Microdrive is running.
Indication INC
Message INCHING
Notes Microdrive is responding to an inch
command.
Indication ACC
Message ACCELERATING
Notes Microdrive is accelerating from a lower
frequency to a higher one.
Indication DEC
Message DECELERATING
Notes Microdrive is decelerating from a higher
frequency to a lower one.
