Troubleshooting

If the case does not tip-off or jams at the discharge end
Check adjustments on the tip-off guides and back stop.
Verify the case is sealed.
If the cases do not clear or begin to stack up at the tip-off
Check the High Level Discharge sensor.
Check PLC timing of High Level Discharge sensor.
Check that discharge conveyor is running.
If the machine jams …
Check the alarm banner on the HMI.
Check the set-up.
If the tape fails to apply or fails to cut

Verify all sensors are properly operating.
Inspect for blown fuses or open circuit breakers.
Check the motors for thermal overloads.
Ensure sensors/reflectors are clean, aligned and operating.
Verify the sensors are not receiving false reflections from painted surfaces or external lights.
Check for faulty wiring or defective equipment.
