How to Replace the Primary Belt …
1. Remove the guard.
2. Jog the machine until the pick-off arm
reaches the maximum rearward
extension at the magazine.
3. Remove the connecting pin that attaches
the arms to the pick-off carriage.
4. Remove the worn, damaged or defective
belt.
5. Place the replacement belt on the
sprockets.
6. Replace the pin that connect the arms to
the pick-off carriage.
7. Temporarily tension the belt.
8. Jog the machine flights to the 0 (zero) position.
9. When the machine flights are at the 0 (zero) position, the pick-off arm
should be the top dead center or 12:00 position.
10. Tension the belt to 20 lbs. force = .75 inches inflection.
a. Measure the belt tension on the longest span of the belt, not on the idler
side.
11. Check the alignment of the primary arms.
