2. Introduction
2.1 Intended use
The digital content meter (c-DGM and i-DGM) is a portable, chargeable instrument to determine
the dissolved O
2
and CO
2
content of carbonated drinks and the O
2
content in gases.
The content meter is filled with carbonated drink originating from, for example:
- the production process (tanks and piping)
- kegs
- filled bottles and cans
Or gas generated by the production process, for example:
- tanks
- piping
- CO
2
recovery systems
- CO
2
gas supplied
In this manual, "DGM" stands for the c-DGM and/or i-DGM. Descriptions that only apply to the
oxygen measurement of the c-DGM are marked with an asterisk (*).
