5.4.5 Check electrolysis current
An electrolysis current check is performed to measure the CO
2
. The warning “No current
strength for electrolysis measured. Measurement aborted.” appears in the case of low
conductivity. If liquids with low conductivity are measured, it is possible to switch off the
electrolysis current test by setting the option “Check E-Current” from “YES” to “NO”. When the
electrolysis current test is switched off, the electrolysis time (see section 5.5.3) for the product to
be measured must also be adjusted. This is necessary because liquids with low conductivity
require longer electrolysis times to establish the CO
2
equilibrium pressure.
5.4.6 Display times
During every measurement, the measured values for *O
2
, *TPO, temperature, pressure and
CO
2
content are shown on the display. The arrow buttons can be used to select and alter the
display times. Press “Enter” to return to theDisplay times” menu.
Select “Main menu” and press “Enter” to return to the main menu.
5.5 Formula and product definition
The DGM offers the possibility to define a CO
2
calculation formula, measurement process times
and *package data for each of 10 different products. When the DGM is delivered, all the
products are set to default values. The following steps take you to the product configuration
menu:
1. Press “Enter” until the Haffmans logo appears.
Besides the software version number, the o-DGM serial number is also displayed.
2. Press “Enter” again.
This takes you to the main menu.
3. Use the arrow buttons to select the “Configuration” menu and then press “Enter” to open
the menu.
4. Select the “Formula/Prod.Def.” menu on the c-DGM or the “CO
2
formula/Prod.Def.”
menu on the i-DGM with the arrow buttons and press “Enter” to open the menu.
The currently selected product is shown.
5. The arrow buttons can be used to select the various submenus. Press “Enter” to open
the desired submenu. The product name, CO
2
formula, electrolysis time, CO
2
stabilization time, *O
2
sample time and *package data can be defined for each product.
You can exit this menu by selecting either the option “Store product” to save the
changes for each product or “Main menu” to exit the menu without saving the changes.
