5.2 Preparation
Make sure that the DGM is not connected to a sampling point
that produces pressure or pressure impulses exceeding
10 bar.
Connect the hose set.
Method:
1. Lubricate the O-rings (pos. 18) of the hose socket (pos. 17) with a small amount of silicon
grease (from the service set).
2. Slide the hose connections over the hose sockets of the DGM until they click into place.
Pull the hose back until the hose connection becomes locked.
5.3 Units
The units used by the DGM for CO
2
content, pressure, temperature and *oxygen content can be
changed.
The following steps take you to the “Unit menu:
1. Press “Enter” until the Haffmans logo appears.
Besides the software version number, the o-DGM serial number is also displayed.
2. Press “Enter” again.
This takes you to the main menu.
3. Use the arrow buttons to select the “Configuration” menu and then press “Enter” to open
the menu.
4. Use the arrow buttons to select the “Unit menu and then press “Enter” to open the
menu.
5. The arrow buttons can be used to select the various submenus. Press “Enter” to select
the “O
2
” menu, the “Temp menu or the main menu.
6. The arrow buttons can be used to select the following units:
CO
2
: g/l; Vol.; %b.w.; kPa; kg/cm
2
Pressure: bar; psi; kg/cm
2
; kPa
Temperature: °C, °F
*O
2
: LIQ medium (dissolved in liquid) : ppb; ppm; mg/l; µg/l
GAS medium (in gas) : %; %a.s., ppm
7. Press “Enter” again to return to the “Units” menu.
