KNOB FOR ADJUSTMENT OF FUSING PRESSURE (DWG. A1.16)
This adjustment permits to vary the pressure (and therefore the force) by which the
profile is pushed onto the heating plate.
DISCONNECTING SLIDE VALVE (DWG. A1.17)
It is connected to the lubricator-filter group, pushing the collar towards the group the
machine is energised, moving it in the opposite direction the machine is disconnected
and the pneumatic circuit is unloaded, thus making all cylinders free for the manual
movement.
.
DWG. A1.17
ADJUSTING KNOB FOR LINE PRESSURE (DWG. A1.17)
It permits to adjust the pressure of the pneumatic supply.
This pressure is used for all the machine movement with the exception of the heating
phase (separate adjusting knob).
To increase the pressure, bring the knob upwards, then turn it clockwise. To diminish the
pressure turn the knob counter clockwise.
SAFE TOUCH DEVICE
The machine has been provided with an electronic safety device, to protect against
operator’s hands squeezing during the blocking cycle.
This device, which has been denominated SAFE TOUCH, intervenes if, by chance, an
operator’s hand comes in contact with one plate of the vertical blocking system (DWG.
A1.18).
The blocking phase starts just pressing on the relevant push button. The plate starts
lowering towards the profile, (the push button must be kept pressed for the whole
cylinder stroke). During this movement the operator’s hand is surely connected to earth
through the metallic push button.
If the other hand comes in contact with one of the blocking plates, a low tension electric
circuit is closed which immediately inverts the movement of the blocking system.
