ALARM FUNCTIONS
This unit has the alarm functions listed below.
When an alarm goes off, check the cause on the basis of the type of alarm generated, and take the
necessary actions to deal with it without delay.
Contact our sales representative or agent if the alarm is not resolved by eliminating the following
causes.
Before calling for service, take some precautions to prevent the stored items (for example by
transferring the items to another freezer).

High-
temperature
alarm
The chamber temperature is
higher than the setting of the
high-temperature alarm.
The alarm indicator blinks.
The chamber temperature
blinks.
Intermittent tone
with a 15-minute
delay.
Alarm mode with
a 15-minutes delay.
Low-
temperature
alarm
The chamber temperature is
lower than the setting of the
low-temperature alarm.
The alarm indicator blinks.
The chamber temperature
blinks.
Intermittent tone
With a 15-minute
delay.
Alarm mode with
a 15-minutes delay.
Power-failure
alarm
A power failure has
occurred.
The power switch is OFF.
The power supply cord is
disconnected.
The alarm indicator blinks. Intermittent tone Alarm mode.
SAFETY FUNCTIONS
This unit has the safety functions listed below.
Safety Cause Indication, Buzzer Safety operation
Auto-return
During setting mode, there is no
key operation for 90 seconds.

Exit from setting mode and return to
temperature display mode.
Key lock The key lock is ON (L1). -----
Change of chamber temperature setting
is disabled.
Battery switch
check
The battery switch is OFF when
pressing the alarm test key
(ALARM TEST).
The alarm indicator
blinks.
E09 blinks.
The buzzer sounds.
The battery switch must be ON to
activate the alarm.
