Hi-Fi stereo reception
You can use the auto-assembling function to join
individual recordings without any major picture
disturbance between the recordings.
0 Press the I ► I button. Search for the correct
position on the tape and t h e n stop the playback
by pressing the I stoph | button. 'PALIS' will
appear in the display.
This video recorder can both record and play back
stereo transmissions. The playback of Hi-Fi
recordings has Hi-Fi quality. The digital control auto
matically regulates that the sound level is recorded
correctly. You do not need to set anything.

0 Now start r ecording as usual by pressing the
I • record] button.
Long play function
You can reduce the recording speed by half.
This makes it possible to record, for example,
8 hours instead of 4 hours on an 'E240' cassette.
0 Before recording, select the 'LP' ( = L ong Play)
recording speed by pressing the I SP/LP I button.
'LP' will appear in the display.
0 During playback the video recorder will automati¬
cally select the correct playback speed.
Note:
* You will obtain the best picture quality by
recording at the standard speed ('SP').
