- Recovery will start only for holding steps or rising steps in heating regula-
tion or for falling steps in cooling regulation.
- To exit manually from recovery mode press o .
8.5 Waiting step end
This function has been conceived to control kilns working cycles, whenever
the kiln cannot follow gradients programmed by the user. If at step end the
di erence between process and setpoint values is greater than the value on
parameter 37, controller starts with the next step only after waiting for the
time programmed on parameter 36
, or when this gap becomes lo-
wer than parameter 37 .

8.6 Heating / Cooling PID
ATR621 is suitable also for applications requiring a combined heating-coo-
ling P.I.D. action.
Command output has to be con gured as heating PID ( = and
greater than 0), and one of alarms (, , ) has to be con gured
as . Command output must be connected to actuator responsible for
heating action, while alarm will control the cooling action.
Parameters to con gure for heating PID are:
= Command output action type (Heating)
: Proportional band heating
: Integral time Heating and cooling
: Derivative time Heating and cooling
: Cycle time Heating
Parameters to con gure for cooling PID are (example: action associated to
alarm 1):
