5 UNPACKING THE X-RAY UNIT
NOTE The edges of the cardboard box may be sharp. Use gloves when handling the
cardboard box.
Lift up the upper part of the package (1).
Fold down the side flaps (2) and remove the protective parts (3), upper arm cover (4) and
accessories carton (5).
NOTE Do not remove the support frame until the unit has been attached to the wall. Never
lift the X-ray unit from the C-arm or from the upper arm.
NOTE Attach felt pads (included in the delivery) to the underside of the column base plate
before you lift up the X-ray unit.
