Follow the guidelines described here to add a Switch 3eq to an existing network. In preparation:
• Identify the numbers or order of the current switches in the fabric, which switch is #1, which is #2,
and so on.
• The new switch being added to the fabric must be the highest-numbered switch.
Adding!Switch!#7!to!a!Six-Switch!Fabric!
You have an existing fabric with six Plexxi 3eq switches. You want to add another switch 3eq to make it
a fabric of seven. To add the switch, you need to shift six existing connections and add three more cables.
