Constant a0 is added to input variable x1 multiplied by a. The result is subjected to square root extraction. Constant
y0 is added to the result of square root extraction.
If the expression under the root is negative, the square root expression is set to 0. As a result: y1 =0.
If the input is not connected, this is interpreted as x1 =0.
