Supply an external 18V DC on connector J4 of the power
supply control board (KALSU) by means of the PSU AUX
VOLTAGE CABLE (Fig. 11)
Verify that current draw is as portrayed in the following
table:
If the current drawn is within range, apply an external Vdc
on the mains external plug by means of the K STD/HGT
DC MAINS CABLE.
Please take the precaution to slowly increase the voltage
from 0 Vdc to 50 Vdc whilst checking the current drawn
by the amplier. (The presence of the capacitors bank
may affect the speed with which the voltage will increase).
If no other damages other than the varistors burning have
occurred during the over-voltage, at around 50V DC the
current drawn should be slightly lower than 3 A. Thanks
to the PFC the amp should switch on.
Verify the voltage readings between the points highlighted
on (Fig. 12) in relation to the following table.
In case of negative outcome, discharge the capacitors
bank and check the power supply VBoost stage, and
refer to the table below when ordering the repair Kit.
