Cleaning the Heatsink:
Peel off the SilPad from both sides of the heatsink
Using a plastic scraper, remove the leftover glue
Dampen a clean cloth with some isopropyl alcohol and wipe off
the excess residues.
Replacing the Gap Pads:
SMD00642 (K_STD) | SMD00651.R, SMD00559 (K_HGT): IS000023
SMD00528 (K_STD): DOW CORNING 340 HEAT SINK COMPOUND
Carefully scrape off all residues from the heatsink-mounted components, remove all residues of dirt and glue.
Lay the gap pad between the components and the heatsink, and tighten all the retainer spring’s screws.
Using a small paint brush, apply the Thermal Paste to the heatsink mounted components and tighten all retainer spring’s screws.
Delicately swab the residues off the components.
