18. INSTALLATION CHECK
The RIPPLE antenna system provides excellent radio frequency reception capabilities to
enhance the near-shore communication capabilities of marine routers. Installing the router/s
in the cavity provided therefore is left to the Integrator to decide how to best integrate the
routers and ancillary network communication equipment.
19. AFTER-SALE
19.1 Maintenance and Service
There are very few user-accessible parts to maintain; these are mainly ensuring the integrity
of the following:
• The bolts securing the antenna to the vessel.
• The bolts securing the radome to the antenna base.
• Securing mechanism/s deployed by Integrator.
• The maintenance of the radome is simply keeping it clean; cleaning can be done
with lukewarm water and soap to remove excess salt spray from the radome
surface.
19.2 Troubleshooting
System performance is mainly governed by the installed router/s and the router
troubleshooting guide should be used predominantly for system fault analysis. The RF
connections should be checked if any of the router troubleshooting steps should fail.
Follow the procedures in this document to open the equipment bay and verify:
• The integrity of the RF connections both on the router/s’ side as well as the
connections to the antenna ports.
• The integrity of the actual connectors and the RF patch leads between the router
and the antenna.
19.3 Warranty Policy

the product was adequately protected during warehousing from any perils to its quality.
Any modifications made to the product will result in this warranty becoming null and void.
The warranty covers the products that meet the following conditions:
