Section 5 Service Procedures
To reduce the risk of electric shock, fire, explosion, serious injury or death:
• Disconnect electric power to the tumbler before servicing.
• Close gas shut-off valve to gas tumbler before servicing.
• Close steam valve to steam tumbler before servicing.
• Never start the tumbler with any guards/panels removed.
• Whenever ground wires are removed during servicing, these ground wires must be
reconnected to ensure that the tumbler is properly grounded.

27. CYLINDER
a. Unlock and remove lint panel. Refer to
Paragraph 20.
b. Remove front panel. Refer to Paragraph 16.
c. Remove palnut, jamnut and washer from
cylinder shaft. Refer to Figure 12.
d. Remove drive access cover at rear of tumbler.
Refer to Figure 26.
e. Pivot motor upward and run belt off motor
pulley and carefully lower motor. Refer to
Figure 26.
f. Pull cylinder out through front of cabinet.
