Section 5 Service Procedures
To reduce the risk of electric shock, fire, explosion, serious injury or death:
Disconnect electric power to the tumbler before servicing.
Close gas shut-off valve to gas tumbler before servicing.
Close steam valve to steam tumbler before servicing.
Never start the tumbler with any guards/panels removed.
Whenever ground wires are removed during servicing, these ground wires must be
reconnected to ensure that the tumbler is properly grounded.

38. THERMISTOR
Refer to Figure 22.
a. Remove screws holding guard to tumbler and
remove cover.
b. Remove screw from belt service door and
remove door.
c. Disconnect wires to thermistor.
d. Unscrew thermistor by turning
counterclockwise.
NOTE: Do not turn thermistor by spade terminals.
IMPORTANT: Do not damage thermistor during
removal.
39. CABINET THERMOSTAT
Refer to Figure 22.
a. Remove screws holding guard to tumbler and
remove guard.
b. Remove screw from belt service door and
remove door.
c. Disconnect wires from cabinet thermostat.
d. Remove screws holding cabinet thermostat to
cabinet and remove cabinet thermostat.
