  If there is no communication between the Printronix Label Maker and the reader: 1. Ensure the serial interface adapter and the serial cable are securely plugged into the printer. 2. Verify that 'Reader = Enable' is selected in the RFID CONTROL menu. 3. Use the RFID Test option in the RFID CONTROL menu (Admin User enabled) to read and display the current RFID tag content. RFID tags usually contain a valid entry due to the pre-test process.
