• The setpoint value indicates when the cooling is activated, and the proportional value is the 0-100% output range.
• Looking at the modulating cooling, with a setpoint of 35% and a proportional band of 20%.
• The Analog Output will begin to increase its voltage when the demand (source: Math 1) reaches 35%. As the cooling
demand increases, the voltage output will increase proportionally. Once the cooling demand reaches 55% (setpoint +
proportional band), the output will be 100%.
• Look at the following example for a 50% cooling demand:
