• Compressor Short Cycle Protection
The thermostat automatically has a 5 minute turn-on delay after turning off
the compressor to avoid short cycling and damaging the cooling system.
This protection can be bypassed if the system is reset and should not be
done other than for installation testing purposes.
• Adjustable Filter Warning
This feature flashes the “FILT” icon in the display when it is necessary to
clean or replace your system filter. Check your system specifications
when setting the time interval between warnings (Step 5 of Thermostat
Setting and Operation). Once the time interval has been reached and the
system filter has been serviced, press the “Return” key to turn off the
warning and reset the timer.
