Thermostat Operation
1) In normal operation (system switch set for heating or cooling), the display
will show the room temperature in large digits, the set point temperature in small
digits, the time of day, the day of week, and the current programming stage
(MORN, DAY, EVE, or NIGHT). Either the HEAT or COOL icon along with
the fan icon will also be displayed if the thermostat is calling for the system to
run. If either 2
nd
stage cooling or heating is on, the “AUX” (green) status
indicator next to the display (fig. 3) will be lit.
2) Once the room temperature passes the set point temperature, the thermostat
turns the heating or cooling system off, and the HEAT or COOL icon along
with the fan icon will no longer be shown.
