WARRANTY
PTI Falcon Access Control System
Preferred Technology Inc. (PTI) warrants equipment manufactured by PTI to the original
purchaser against defects in materials and workmanship, under normal use and service,
for a period of one year from the date of shipment, provided recommended installation and
maintenance procedures are followed,
and provided that the warranty registration
card is promptly completed and returned to Preferred Technology Inc.
In case of failure due to defective material or workmanship during the warranty period,
components found to be defective upon examination by PTI in its sole discretion, will be
repaired or replaced with new or factory rebuilt components at the option of PTI.
Replacement parts are warranted only for the remaining portion of the original warranty
period. Equipment requiring warranty work shall be returned freight prepaid to PTI. PTI will
pay freight to return the repaired or replaced items covered by this warranty to the
customer.
This warranty does not extend to normal maintenance, which the customer is expected to
provide. Further, this warranty does not extend to equipment or component systems
manufactured by others and sold by PTI. In such cases, the original manufacturer's warranty
shall apply.
This warranty is in lieu of and excludes all other warranties, expressed or implied,
including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness
for a particular purpose. This warranty shall not extend to damage due to improper
installation, maintenance, or use, connection to improper power sources, or to
damage caused by fire, flood, lightning, power surge, or other acts of nature. In no
event shall Preferred Technology Inc. be liable for any incidental or consequential
damages due to any defect or failure of the equipment.
