Procedure 2-7, Adjusting the Ball Accelerator Flat Belt Tension
Caution: This part of the machine can start automatically and without warning.
If the flat main ball accelerator belt becomes loose and begins to flap noticeably, adjust as
follows:
1. Apply LOTO procedure. Disconnect power to the Ball Accelerator motor by
opening the Logic Power circuit breaker and unplugging the Main Power connector
from the top of the control chassis.
2. Adjust the flat belt tension by turning the long adjusting screw attached to the tension
rod as shown in Figure 2-9.
3. When adjustment is complete, plug in the Main Power connector, shut the Logic Power
circuit breaker and test the unit. Repeat as needed.
