General Grounding Instructions
Before mounting any equipment, ensure that any existing ground connection is properly
connected and that the resistance between the grounding location on the tower or building
and the ground is as close to 0 Ω ֹimpedance as possible, and less than 5 Ω.
If a new grounding connection is to be installed, it must also be verified prior to equipment
installation. An example of grounding connections and shielding appears in the following
figures.
