Iflatitudeandlongitudeisdisplayedonthehomescreen,yourvesselhasa
validpositionfix.Ifthetextturnsred,itmeansthatyourfixaccuracyislow.
Theskyviewontheleftsideofthepageshowsavailablesatellitesand
identifiestheGNSSconstellationtowhichtheybelong.Thecolorofthe
satellitesymbolidentifiesitsstatus:
•White=searchingforsatellite
•Green=satelliteinuse
•Orange=trackingsatellite
The[ShowSignal(dB)]toggleswitchcanbeusedtoshoworhideasignal
strengthbarforeachsatellite
.
GPS/GNSSsettings
SettingsforyourGPS/GNSSreceivercanbeaccessedbyselectingthetop
leftcornerofthehomescreenandthenselectingthe[Settings]tab.
FromtheGPS/GNSSsettingstabyoucan:
•[Differentialpositioning:]—Enablingdifferentialpositioningprovidesmore
accuratepositioninginregionscoveredbySatelliteBasedAugmentation
Systems(SBAS).
•[COG/SOGfilter:]—SettingtheCOG/SOGfilteraccordingtotheamount
ofyourvessel’soscillation(e.g.:roll,pitchandyaw)providesmorestable
COGandSOGreadings.
•[InternalGPS:]—Enableanddisableyourdisplay’sbuilt-inGPS/GNSS
receiver.
•[SendGPStoVHF:]—EnableanddisableoutputofGPS/GNSSdatafrom
yourdisplaytoaconnectedVHFradio.
•[Restart]—RestarttheGPS/GNSSreceiverinusebythedisplay.
