Thebacklightinglevelcanbeaccessedusingthe
Depthbutton.
Duringnormaloperation:
1.PressandholdtheDepthbuttonfor
approximately2secondstodisplaytheBacklight
page.
LAMPSisdisplayedon-screenandthecurrent
backlightlevel.
2.UsetheResetbuttontoincreasethebacklight
settingtotherequiredlevel.
3.UsetheOffsetbuttontoincreasethebacklight
settingtotherequiredlevel.
Thebacklightlevelcanbeadjustedfromlevel1to
level9orswitchedOff(default).
Note:Thebacklightpagewilltime-outafter8
secondsofinactivity.
Adjustingthecontrast—i50Depth
Thecontrastlevelcanbeaccessedusingthepower
button.
Duringnormaloperation:
1.PressandholdtheDepthbuttonfor
approximately4secondstodisplaytheContrast
page.
CONTRASTisdisplayedon-screenandthecurrent
contrastlevel.
2.UsetheDepthbuttontocyclethroughthe
availablecontrastlevels.
Thecontrastlevelcanbeadjustedfromlevel
0(default)to3.
Note:Thecontrastpagewilltime-outafter8
secondsofinactivity.
Groupillumination
Groupilluminationisusedtosynchronizesand
controlthebacklightinglevelofmultipleunits
assignedtothesamegroup.
Theunitcanparticipateinsharedillumination
viaaSeaT alknetworkorgroupilluminationviaa
SeaTalk
ng
network.
WhenconnectedonaSeaT alknetworkall
compatibleunitswillsharetheirbacklightlevel(when
1unit'sbacklightinglevelisadjustedallotherunits
backlightlevelwillalsochange).
WhenconnectedonaSeaTalk
ng
networktheunit
canparticipateingroupilluminationandbeassigned
toagroupofunitswhichwillsharetheirbacklighting
levels.Availablegroupsareasfollows:
•OFF(default)—Groupilluminationis
switchedoff
•HL1—Helm1
•HL2—Helm2
•CPt—Cockpit
•FLY—Flybridge
•NST—Mast
•GP1toGP5—Userdenedgroups
Whenassignedtoagroup,whenthebacklightingof
1unitisadjustedthebacklightinglevelofallunits
assignedtothesamegroupwillalsochange.
Assigningthei50Depthtoagroup
Toassignthei50Depthaspartofagroupsothatit
canparticipateingroupilluminationfollowthesteps
below.
Duringnormaloperation:
1.PressandholdtheDepthandAlarmbuttons
atthesametimefor6seconds,untiltheGroup
illuminationpageisdisplayed.
GROUPCALisdisplayedon-screen.
Note:TheGroupilluminationentrypageisa
temporarypageandwilltime-outtotheprevious
pageafter8seconds.
2.PresstheDepthbuttontodisplaytheGroups
page.
3.PresstheOffsetandResetbuttonsatthesame
timetoenableselectionofagroup.
Thegroupsettingwillash.
4.UsetheResetbuttontocycleupwardsthrough
thelistofavailablegroups.
5.UsetheOffsetbuttontocyclebackdownthrough
thelist.
6.PresstheOffsetandResetbuttonsatthesame
timetoassignthedisplaytotheselectedgroup.
Thegroupsettingwillstopashing.
7.PressandholdtheDepthandAlarmbuttonsat
thesametimeforapproximately2secondsto
returntonormaloperation.
