Thebacklightinglevelcanbeaccessedusingthe
Speedbutton.
Duringnormaloperation:
1.PressandholdtheSpeedbuttonfor
approximately2secondstodisplaytheBacklight
page.
LAMPSisdisplayedon-screenandthecurrent
backlightlevel.
2.UsetheResetbuttontoincreasethebacklight
settingtotherequiredlevel.
3.UsetheTimerbuttontoincreasethebacklight
settingtotherequiredlevel.
Thebacklightlevelcanbeadjustedbetweenlevel1
to9orswitchedOff(default).
Note:Thebacklightpagewilltime-outafter8
secondsofinactivity.
Adjustingthecontrast—i50Speed
ThecontrastlevelcanbeaccessedusingtheSpeed
button.
Duringnormaloperation:
1.PressandholdtheSpeedbuttonfor
approximately4secondstodisplaytheContrast
page.
CONTRASTisdisplayedon-screenandthecurrent
contrastlevel.
2.UsetheSpeedbuttontocyclethroughthe
availablecontrastlevels.
Thecontrastlevelcanbeadjustedfromlevel
0(default)to3.
Note:Thecontrastpagewilltime-outafter8
secondsofinactivity.
Groupillumination
Groupilluminationisusedtosynchronizesand
controlthebacklightinglevelofmultipleunits
assignedtothesamegroup.
Theunitcanparticipateinsharedillumination
viaaSeaT alknetworkorgroupilluminationviaa
SeaTalk
ng
network.
WhenconnectedonaSeaT alknetworkall
compatibleunitswillsharetheirbacklightlevel(when
1unit'sbacklightinglevelisadjustedallotherunits
backlightlevelwillalsochange).
WhenconnectedonaSeaTalk
ng
networktheunit
canparticipateingroupilluminationandbeassigned
toagroupofunitswhichwillsharetheirbacklighting
levels.Availablegroupsareasfollows:
•OFF(default)—Groupilluminationis
switchedoff
•HL1—Helm1
•HL2—Helm2
•CPt—Cockpit
•FLY—Flybridge
•NST—Mast
•GP1toGP5—Userdenedgroups
Whenassignedtoagroup,whenthebacklightingof
1unitisadjustedthebacklightinglevelofallunits
assignedtothesamegroupwillalsochange.
Assigningthei50Speedtoagroup
Toassignthei50Speedaspartofagroupsothatit
canparticipateingroupilluminationfollowthesteps
below.
Duringnormaloperation:
1.PressandholdtheSpeedandTripbuttonsat
thesametimefor6seconds,untiltheGroup
illuminationpageisdisplayed.
GROUPCALisdisplayedon-screen.
Note:TheGroupilluminationentrypageisa
temporarypageandwilltime-outtotheprevious
pageafter8seconds.
2.PresstheSpeedbuttontodisplaytheGroups
page.
3.PresstheTimerandResetbuttonsatthesame
timetoenableselectionofagroup.
Thegroupsettingwillash.
4.UsetheResetbuttontocycleupwardsthrough
thelistofavailablegroups.
5.UsetheTimerbuttontocyclebackdownthrough
thelist.
6.PresstheTimerandResetbuttonsatthesame
timetoassignthedisplaytotheselectedgroup.
