Beforeusingthepilotcontrollerunderwayitisimportantthat
itisproperlycommissionedandsetupasdescribedinthe
installationinstruction.
Firsttimesetup
Therstevertimethepilotcontrollerispoweredon,youwillbe
shownon-screeninstructionsfortheinitialsetup.Ifyourpilot
controllerhasbeeninstalledbyaprofessionalinstaller,rsttime
setupandcommissioningmayalreadyhavebeencarriedout,if
unsurecheckwiththedealer.
Thersttimesetupscreenstakesyouthroughthefollowing:
•Languageselection
•Vesseltypeselection
Ifapilotcontrolleralreadyexistsonyoursystemthenthis
proceduremaybeskippedandthep70/p70rwilladoptthe
samesettingsasthealreadyinstalledpilotcontroller.
Note:Ifcalibrationhasnotbeenundertakenthenthedisplay
willalarm'Calibrationrequired'andthenshow'Starting'on
thedisplay
Commissioning
Beforeusingyourautopilotsystemforthersttimeyoumust
ensurethatthesystemhasbeencorrectlycommissioned
inaccordancewiththesuppliedinstallationinstruction.
Commissioningprocedureswhichmustbecarriedoutare:
•Docksidecalibration(DealersettingsonSeaT alk)
•Seatrialcalibration
