Youcanusetrackmodetoautomaticallysteeryourvessel.
InTrackmode,theautopilotautomaticallysteersyourvesselto
atargetwaypointoralongarouteplottedonyourmultifunction
display.Itmakesanycoursechangesnecessarytokeepyour
vesseloncourse,automaticallycompensatingfortidalstreams
andleeway.
Trackmodeisavailableonlyifyouhaveconnectedtheautopilot
toasuitablemultifunctiondisplaywithautopilotcontrolenabled.

Startwithyourconnectedchartplotterfollowingaroute.
Fromthemenu:
1.SelectMode.
2.SelectTrack.
Thedisplaywillshowthebearingtothenextplanned
waypoint,andthedirectioninwhichthevesselwillturnonto
thetrackline.
3.Ifitissafeforthevesseltoturnontothenewcourse,select
Track.
Theautopilotturnsyourvesselontothenewcoursewiththe
displayshowingtheheadingrequiredforthecorrecttrack.
Note:Ifthevesselismorethan0.3nmfromthetrack,the
LargeCrossTrackErrorwarningwillsound.
Waypointarrivalcircle
TheWaypointArrivalCircleisaboundarylineplacedaround
theactualwaypointwhich,whenreachedtriggersthewaypoint
arrivalalarm.Asthealarmistriggeredbythewaypointarrival
circleandnotthewaypointyourvesselmaystillbesome
distancefromtheactualwaypointwhenthealarmsounds.The
sizeofthewaypointarrivalcirclecanbecustomized,ifthearrival
circleischangedsothattheradiusis0.3nmorgreaterfromthe
waypointthiscanresultinacrosstrackerroralarm.
